Studio A Housed near Club Space and Nocturnal, the other places you can party for 24 hours a day, Studio A is ballroom-esque space offering live music and a different identity nearly each night. Thanks to its owners from the 212 and a local gal who helped bring about some of Miamis legendary theme nights, A starts off Thursdays with Plastic Fantastic for the hipster/alternative/indie crowd; becomes The Rub on Friday with its hip hop, rock and 80s open format; and eventually slides over to become Crisco Disco on Sundays for the gay crowd.
But its best feature is the fact that it is a regularly raging live music venue, with two elevated VIP areas at the sides of the stage and great sightlines throughout. Rock shows, which usually occur on weekdays, are open to those 18 and older and the usually end before midnight so concertgoers can get warmed up for the long weekend of partying ahead.
