Nubian Lounge at The Caribbean Beach Club
The Caribbean Beach Club is an expansive dance
club and restaurant with a 900-person capacity.
While the decor is well-worn, its easy to see
how a lot of people can have fun here. The front
room has two large bars, plenty of space for
standing and sitting (including red plush booths)
and a large dance floor. The back room is a touch
sparse, but can accommodate the overflow. There
is also a patio area with outside seating. Open
Tuesday through Sunday, the club boasts a busy
schedule including swing lessons on Tuesday, hip-
hop and "Down South" on Wednesday, "Nubian
Lounge" (open-mike poetry and comedy) on
Thursday, Caribbean night on Friday and Latin
night on Saturday. The cover charge varies by
night but stays relatively cheap. American and
Caribbean food is served until early morning.
